SEPTEMBER 2018

More than 30 sessions will be implemented from September 2018 to March 2019 in the LIFE VISON area.

Trapping sessions to detect the presence of the European mink

To identify the areas where the European mink occurs, the LPO and GREGE team will conduct several trapping sessions on different parts of the LIFE VISON area. The European minks caught will be micro-chipped to allow their identification if they are trapped again.

These trapping sessions will improve the knowledge about European mink, particularly its home range, in order to implement relevant conservation actions in the Charente catchment area.
